Simplified Filtering with Advanced Filters

In Zoho CRM, advanced filters have always been a useful tool for quickly locating records within each module. By using the fields within a specific module, you could filter leads by industry, identify contacts by title, and find deals by amount. Post-filtering, various actions could be executed on the refined records.

Beyond Module Boundaries

Records in Zoho CRM often interlink with other modules or contain subforms to track line items. For instance, a contact is linked to deals, and a sales order contains product line items in subforms. However, filtering records using these related modules or subforms wasn’t possible—until now.

Introducing Cross Module and Subform Filtering

You can now filter records by related modules and subforms within advanced filters, enhancing your ability to find precise data. Here’s how:

Filter by Related Modules

You can now filter records in a module based on related modules, both standard and custom. For example, filter contacts with deals:

  • In a specific stage
  • With recent activities
  • Or without any deals at all

Filter by Subforms

Subforms allow you to associate multiple line items to a single record. Now, you can filter sales orders by the presence or absence of specific products or quantities within these subforms. For example:

  • Sales orders with specific products
  • Orders with certain quantities of a product
  • Or orders without particular items

Combining Filters for Precision

By combining these filtering options, you can narrow down records in any module with remarkable precision and perform necessary actions efficiently.

Feature Limits

  • Limits: Maximum of 3 subforms or related modules and 5 fields per subform/module.
